Team

When you work with remote administrators and web developers, it can be helpful to get a sense of who they are. Below, you can see something about the NomadIT team:

Rohan Jackson

Rohan Jackson

Email: rohan(at)nomadit.co.uk

Founder, Team management, Conferences and Events , Membership, Web

Rohan has many years' experience working in conference organising, organisational administration, and presentation/print design in both voluntary sector & the commercial world. He founded this remote-working company to facilitate life on an English narrowboat (called Ganesh - which is why we use an icon of Ganesh as our company logo). After 16 years afloat he now lives on dry land (well sometimes - it is Manchester!) but his commitment to remote and flexible working continues, appreciated by his dog, Sukha.

She has studied anthropology and art curating in Estonia and Australia, conducted research in Barcelona, and is planning to explore New Zealand next. Conferences and Events , Web

After years of working as the assistant manager-development manager-chief of staff-designer-photographer of one of the largest importer and wholesaler of beauty products in Estonia, Kristjan was looking for a better work-life balance. He found it at NomadIT, where he still has multiple roles but also a better control over his time and freedom of movement, in case he wants to escape the long dark winters of the north. Currently living in the beautiful forests of Soomaa, Kristjan enjoys nature, spending time with friends and family, Japanese anime and video games.

Elaine joined the team from local government and the voluntary sector, saving herself a five-hour daily commute: she was born and lived in London for many years, but moved to Brighton (Hove actually) in 2009 to live by the sea. Despite graduating in languages, she now spends most of her time juggling with numbers. When she is not working, she likes walking on the South Downs (preferably to the nearest pub), cold-water swimming, and is seriously addicted to women's tennis.
