An informal meeting in which national STS networks and associations (and especially those recently founded) can share experiences and start a dialogue
Promoted by the Spanish esCTS Network, this lunch-time session will be an informal meeting in which national STS networks and associations (and especially those recently founded) can share experiences and start a dialogue - about different models and current challenges for academic STS associations, strategies for fostering STS in different national contexts, difficulties and opportunities for recent post-graduate students, possible future collaborations among national networks, and other topics that could be of common interest. As this is a first meeting of its kind, an open, exploratory approach will be adopted. AsSIST-UK, the Belgian STS Network, Brasil CTS, red CTS-Chile, the Science and Technology Network of the Portuguese Sociological Association and STS-Italia have confirmed their attendance, and other similar associations and networks are invited to join us
